Creative Collaboration: Legos in London
My love for legos is no secret. I have written about them before here and people who know me understand my mild obsession admiration for this incredibly clever and creative product. Did you know that since their introduction in 1949, legos have become the most popular toy in history?…

Hanging out at Fashion Week – the Mercedes Benz Star Lounge
I’m always amazed by all the towering shoes I see at Fashion Week. Between waiting for shows and standing in line, there’s a fair amount of time on your feet. So it’s terrific to have a place to sit, relax, have a drink and regroup.…

Fashion Week Spring 2012 – CHADO Ralph Rucci
CHADO Ralph Rucci’s Spring 2012 collection was nothing short of breathtaking. It is in a league of its own. Brimfield Bounty 2
As a neophyte Brimfield attendee, I must admit the enormity of the event was a tad overwhelming. Luckily, after checking in at the Brimfield Tweet Up VIP tent, Michael Diver, the managing editor of Traditional Home, kindly invited me to tag along with him and Doris Athinios, Senior Art and Antiques Editor to the J&J field, the original, largest and widely considered premier show at Brimfield.…

I had heard about the fabulous antiques venue at Brimfield for years and last week, for the first time, was able to experience it myself. Cynthia Bogart of The Daily Basics and Gretchen Aubuchon of Gretchen Aubuchon Design (below) organized, for the second time, a marvelous event for bloggers and designers at the fair.…
