Catching Up Out and About

When you have young children, May is always the busiest month with year end performances, sports championships and exams. And it seems not much has changed. As my brain is adjusting from being back and forth in too many time zones, I’ve been catching up on this month’s (well actually June’s) design issues.…

A Perfect Setting at the Nantucket Antiques Show Part 2

Today we continue our look at the tables at A Perfect Setting at the Nantucket Antiques Show. One of my favorite shops on island is Flowers on Chestnut. Parchment Nantucket

While I had intended to post several more shops from my trip last week, I couldn’t resist sharing a few more peeks from popular favorite, Parchment Nantucket. For the last ten years, this tiny store has been packing plenty of creative offerings in its small but charming space.…

A Stylish Nantucket Wedding

For her entire life, my niece has been summering on Nantucket, so it was only natural that a Nantucket wedding would be her choice. This past weekend, friends and family gathered on island to celebrate with a full calendar of special events.…

Stylish Shopping with Susanna Salk and Jill Kargman on Nantucket

Daughter of Coco and Arie Kopelman, the former president of Chanel, sister-in-law to Drew Barrymore (wife of Jill’s brother Will), happily married mother of three and chic fashionista, she was raised in the inner circles of the Manhattan social strata.…

Nantucket Style

I’ve been coming to Nantucket for over 25 years and even though it is more crowded and built up than ever, it is still an island paradise. Thirty miles out to sea, it is a small place, only 3-1/2 miles wide by 14 miles long with over 40% of the land protected by the Land Trust.…
