Feeling slightly jealous of you Americans and your 4th of July celebrations – we need more holidays in NZ!

One night when we lived in the city and we would go to the FDR drive to watch the fireworks, one of my sons said, “like diamonds in the sky” and my husband and I laughed – knowing the song by Elton John.
The fourth is one of my favorite holidays! Love your images.

Your Fourth celebrations look like so much fun! We definitely missed being away from Canada for Canada Day, but moving into our place kept us preoccupied. Love your pics! :)

Hope you had a great 4th! Great spot for fireworks. I was so sad that Stamford’s fireworks were cancelled again – but we lucked out last night and saw about 6 towns of fireworks as we drove down 95 on our way back to NY.
