The People’s Project – Pool House & Guest Cottage

The governor’s residence includes two charming outbuildings. Closest to the main residence is a pool house. From the Philip Gorrivan designed sunroom, you can see the pool and garden through the french doors. Designers Tricia Izzo and Carolyn Kron of Shelter Interiors were met with many challenges in renovating the now lovely pool house.…

Creative Collaboration: The People’s Project – An Introduction

I recently had the privilege of previewing the spectacular renovation of the historic Connecticut Governor’s Residence in Hartford. What an incredibly generous outpouring of creative collaboration this project is!! Nirvana in Westchester

This spring is hopping with design activities, from benefits and showhouses to Brimfield and Blogfest. Last week I had the opportunity to visit the Designer Showhouse of Westchester. Located in Bedford Corners, NY, the event is at Nirvana, an $11,000,000 17 acre estate, transformed by 25 interior designers and decorative artists to benefit Cerebral Palsy of Westchester.…

Saturday night I was invited to the press preview of the Greenwich Chapter of the American Red Cross‘s annual Red & White Ball. What a fabulous venue it was. In the Net Jets Hangar at the Westchester Airport, thirty six tablescapes were designed by the area’s top designers and florists.…
