AERIN Fall 2016 Accessories Sneak Peek

As we are still waiting for spring-like temperatures, it’s also time to look ahead to the fall collections. This year AERIN‘s fall 2016 accessories include a new fashion collection of bags and shoes.

As you may remember from our video visit to Aerin’s beautiful Southampton home, she considers leopard a classic neutral for interiors and it clearly holds true for fashion as well. From chic clutches and pouch to top handle or shoulder bag to leopard pony ballet flat, there are a myriad of choices to add a little exotic animal vibe to your wardrobe come fall.

One of the strong color stories for her fall 2016 accessories was “brown rose,” a color derivative of Aerin’s favorite floral that adds a feminine touch to any fashion statement.

With gold plated latches and chains, the new bags add understated glamour in a variety of useful sizes and classic shapes.

While I normally gravitate toward very tailored accessories, I loved the embroidered pieces, feeling very au courant with the spate of both fashion and decor embroidery in the air. Whether in black leather on chocolate suede

or the casually chic rose on denim, it is subtle but stylish addition.

I am always on the hunt for good navy accessories and AERIN’s suede Aster ones fit the bill. They are a great hard-to-find dark blue, less red than they appear in the photos below.

For those planning fall weekend outings, the ample Unisex Oversize Shopper, also available in leather, could easily double as a weekend bag.

For home, the fall 2016 accessories speak to a tranquil Collector’s retreat, with serene neutral tones. The AERIN coveted embossed shagreen accessories are now in a pale “dove” – below the small and large jewelry boxes.

A new finish for frames is the gold linen, lustrous warmth with artisanal texture.

Small sculpture and objéts add personality to tabletops and shelves and are perfect gifts come holiday time. The new neutral hue of dove in the Elodie or shagreen frame work beautifully with the new small gilded gold clover vase and porcelain gilded dogwood.

New bar accessories will be welcome for fall entertaining.

And for fall family time or that man who has everything, consider the handsome new shagreen chess or tic tac toe set – the perfect accompaniment to a roaring fire and cocktail.

Some of my favorites from the new collection are the beautiful new desk accessories. The classic Archer bookends are now joined by an Archer magnifying glass and letter opener set shown next to the marble Margot Objet in parchment white.

For a timeless library, the Milo marble bookends offer classic worldly appeal.

The Ingres marble trays and bowls have beautiful mid century lines with functional allure.

We even got a peek at the new AERIN fabric collection coming soon from Lee Jofa.

Lastly, AERIN is expanding its home decorative accessories line with a new five-piece candle collection.

Packaged in beautiful watercolor boxes, they channel Aerin’s favorite international destinations with fragrances evoking Mustique, Southern France, Rome, Aspen, and St. Moritz.
