Originally a jungle of tangled growth, Veere, over the years, has tamed it into an extraordinary verdant world of beauty and exploration. The upper terraces overlook the intricate interweaving of gardens and structure with views of Spain and Gibraltar.

The amazing climate, reminiscent of his childhood home in Auckland, New Zealand, has allowed Veere to plant a wide range of plants, both potted and planted, that enhance the garden with staggered blooms year round.

Veere’s process of garden design utilizes frames of plant architecture that contain the wild growth within. Just as Veere has embraced eclectic combinations in the house’s interior, so has he done in the garden, incorporating custom structures and tilework for a result that is both glamorous and artisanal.

The extensive series of paths and outdoor rooms are the source of endless, varied views with many thoughtful resting spots for relaxation and repose.
