SFERRA | The Luxury of Quality, Values and Style
If luxury is determined by value, quality and craftsmanship and the sign of true authenticity is a vision that has remained consistent over the course, then SFERRA is a company that embodies the quintessential essence of a luxury brand. Since 1891 when Gennaro Sferra started his luxury linens business in Venice, SFERRA has been synonymous with the highest quality linens available.…

Shop Small Saturday Surprise
I try to support small local businesses whenever I can. Not only do these establishments play a vital role in creating jobs and economic opportunities in our communities but it’s nice to see merchandise in person and actually know the people behind the brick and mortar.…

The New York Gift Show – A Sneak Peek
I spent the entire weekend at the New York Gift Fair. Saturday I perused Pier 94 which is large but somehow manageable. Sunday, however, I tackled the Javitz Center which is a behemoth of a show. I walked literally from 9:30 to 5:30, taking in what I could – trying to visit known vendors and discover some new ones.…

Cheers to the Red, White & Blue – Happy 4th of July!
Whether you’re staying home or going out, dressing up or keeping it casual, there’s a little something here for everyone! Starting with a little RED!!
1) Charlotte Olympia London 2012 Pandora Perspex clutch (I know July 4th is all about independence from those Brits, but think Olympics) 2) Kim Seybert Seersucker Napkins (I own & love these) 3) Oscar de la Renta Crystal Teardrop Earrings 4) Campari – with soda on the rocks, with a splash of orange juice or in a Negroni, it’s my favorite red summer cocktail!…

I wasn’t familiar with Wesley Hall before this trip. …

L.A. Style File – At Home at Hollyhock
The Sunday evening before the Design Bloggers Conference was one of supreme visual artistry. First was an awe inspiring visit to Hutton Wilkinson’s Casa Contessa and Tony Duquette’s Dawn Ridge next door. Somewhere in between James Hilton’s Shangri La and Auntie Mame on steroids, the creative expression at both these residences is beyond words.…
