The Punctilious Mr. P’s Illustrated place cards were designed to be viewed upright (although some cards are horizontal) and delight your guests with a beautiful facing image.
We suggest this simple and elegant design that blends into almost any décor. Black lacquer was inspired by Martin Cooper’s and Karen Suen-Cooper’s own sumptuous dining room at their Hudson River Valley home, B’ellow (be sure to watch our video visit there). It creates more of a mood. Though there are no steadfast rules, black lacquer is great for dark rooms and evening, while silver is great for brighter rooms and day-time settings.
