I am thrilled to share that next week I will be speaking at the AmericasMart Gift and Home Furnishings Market in Atlanta. Not only have I never attended this event, but have never been to Atlanta! I’m looking forward to staying with one of my oldest friends who I rarely get to see. And bonus is she lives in a beautiful Suzanne Kasler designed house!
I have heard many wonderful things about the welcoming spirit at this show. With a winning combination of permanent showrooms and trade shows throughout the year, the uniquely integrated buildings make navigating this show a pleasure. I am honored to be included in their seminar series with such design luminaries as Stan Topol, Kathryn Ireland, Kathryn Greeley and Nathan Turner among others.
In addition to my talk, the wonderful team at Currey & Company are generously hosting a cocktail reception for me in their newly expanded showroom (14F10) from 4 – 6pm that afternoon. I hear the new space is stunning featuring such pieces as their stylish Garbo settee, perfectly on trend in gold with the graphic pop of the color of the year.

when i saw your name i was overjoyed as this chicago gal never misses the atlanta mart, congrats to you!
unfortunately thursday will find me at the scotts antique market which opens thursday at 1. this event runs through the weekend if interested, to me it is one of the best in the country for buying.
