It’s hard to believe that this year’s High Point Fall Market is less than two weeks away. I am delighted to announce that I will again be participating in the Sponsored Blogger Program. This market each blogger is assigned to two showrooms and I am thrilled to be representing Baker, participating for the first time this market, and Wesley Hall. Each of these companies is known for their commitment to quality, craftsmanship and style and have exciting collections coming for fall.
As Baker has hinted, “something stunning is taking shape from one of Europe’s most sought-after designers.” And that something is a new collection from Jacques Garcia. Known for his sophisticated mix of old and new with a distinct Parisian flair, the designer/architect will will be debuting pieces full of “grandeur, sensuality and theatrics.” In a seductive countdown campaign, Baker has been offering tantalizing peeks of what’s to come. In addition, I look forward to seeing new additions to the many other lines under the Baker umbrella.
This is a big market for Wesley Hall, who will be introducing 200 new fabrics, twice the number of new frames, as well as three new finishes. The glamorous shot above features their 650 chairs shown in the new painterly fabric Kimmel in mist.
I love their new curved Barber Banquette, above. Elegant and versatile, it would be wonderful with a round dining table, sexy in a spacious bedroom or stately in a large entry. Lovely as shown in Graphite Perth linen with contrasting welt and buttons in Calypso, I think it would also be fabulous in leather or a print.
Tufting is back and the new Margot Dining Chair in C-Banks/Calypso shows it off in style. The curved back with square tufting is not only chic but back-hugging comfortable and check out the beautifully detailed legs – understated but elegant.
I look forward to sharing with you much more from both these fabulous furniture companies in a few weeks. In the meantime, be sure to stop back tomorrow for a very special “At Home with” video feature.
