How propitious that my guest post for Global Lighting appeared on the day that I am recovering from our fabulous #Jingletweet party (more on that next week).
Global Lighting is a wonderful source for European architectural lighting fixtures. As you know I am loving the mix of old and new lately, which we saw so much of on BlogTour2011 in London this fall. One of the easiest ways to add a contemporary element to a traditional or antique-filled interior is with a modern light. You may remember the fabulous juxtaposition of the Dale Chihuly in the V&A (above). While Global offers many designs, I am particularly attracted to their innovative and elegant pendants.
Here’s a little preview of my LZF pick in in this rustic chic library. Global Lighting is the the exclusive distributor of the line in the U.S. Do stop by the post to see more about my choice!!
Great products… sleek and modern. Very nice.
I need lights in my stair well so I’m off to have a look.
Enjoy your weekend Stacey!

Love the Chihuly! I will check out this source. Thanks for sharing.
The team at Global Lighting was thrilled to have you as one of our Blogger’s Choice, Stacey. Your sense of style and excellent taste had us sitting on the edge of our seats to see which fixture you would choose and it’s no surprise it was one of our hippest offerings! Hope you have a wonderful holiday and we look forward to seeing you in SoMe land in 2012!
That second lighting fixture is so wonderfully contemporary but so soft and feminine too. I love it.
Will check out your post now! Hope you’re well & thank you for stopping by RHS regularly.
the Dale Chihuly V&A is just amzing and I love it. I will check out GL as I have a new project-a sprawling 60s ranch with many needs.
Love the pendant! I m headed over to see what’d in store.
Have a nice Sunday.

I can spot a Chihuly anywhere! As a proud owner of one of his pieces, much, much smaller than this by the way, I am constatnly inspired by the beauty they each have. He’s an amazing talent!
Great architects design!
