The interholiday days are officially here. And that means my eyes are peeled for potential gift picks almost everywhere I go. Over the next three weeks, I’ll be sharing some of my favorite finds as I’m out and about.
While I’ve passed the Calvin Klein shop on Madison Avenue countless times, I had never ventured downstairs to the world of Calvin Klein Home. It had just been decked out in their version of a winter wonderland with a luxurious and luminous naturalistic vibe.
Calvin Klein Home has a zen-like minimalist mantra. And although not normally a minimalist at heart, I found quite a few items that could augment a setting of any style.
It isn’t easy to find nice gold flatware and the Ellipse set is a winner. Elegant and refined, the clean lines and rounded handles are appealing in their purity
and the canapé knife set is a sure-to-be-appreciated hostess or weekend gift.
The pitchers would lend any bar a bit of upscale glamour
and for those who’ve been very good, this versatile Radiant Centerpiece bowl just might make it under your tree. See how fabulous it looks filled with festive greens above.
Calvin Klein Home has done your tabletop work for you by varying the heights of the Pillar gold candlesticks. Whether for dining or cocktail table, they’re a chic addition to any vignette.
Every holiday household needs a receptacle for some bubbly and I loved the look of these gold trimmed Halo champagne flutes – a fresh change from the standard coupe or flute.
And lastly, every home collection also needs a scent. Calvin Klein Home offers three, but my favorite was Dune, with notes of black orris, rose and crushed jasmine petals blended with patchouli and vetiver, in an incredibly elegant (and weighty) marble presentation. A beautiful gift for someone special on your list!
If you’re in the neighborhood (Madison at 60th St) you can see the collection for yourself or you can let your fingers do the walking online.
I am definitely not a minimalist either and yet found all of this gorgeous and…useful for everyday too.
That tickled me…no minimalist am I either; that’s a given!! Beautiful finds!! franki
Hi Stacey!
I can’t tell you how many times I have walked by Calvin Klein, but never ventured inside! I had no idea that home was lurking behind those stylish windows. Gorgeous!
Looking forward to your forays into the city and seeing your shopping pics!
Here’s to a merry season!
xoxo Elizabeth
