Every year Christmas Eve somehow sneaks up on me, reminding me somehow of Carl Sandburg’s fog. And this year, it has seemed especially speedy. I thought I would be able to share my table with you today, but since I am not quite done, I offer a peek and wish everyone who celebrates, a wonderful Christmas Eve. One of my favorite nights of the year, it is a time for family, festivities and an abundance of food, including my husband’s veal stew and my sister-in-law’s trifle. So, back to my wrapping station in Santa’s workshop. Merry merry!
Just beautiful Stacey. Wishing you and your family a very Merry Christmas and all the best in the new year ~ XO

We are listening to the live broadcast of the Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols from Kings College Chapel in Cambridge. It is so extraordinarily beautiful and captures the true spirit of Christmas. Hope you and your family have a very merry one! Carolyn
