It seems like two seconds ago it was Memorial Day and now summer here on Nantucket is in full throttle. The roses are abloom, the hydrangea are finally abundant again and the lines at The Juice Bar aptly reflect the number of visitors here to enjoy what our little independent island has to offer. So from my Nantucket table to yours, wishing you all here in the US a very happy 4th of July!
If you stop by Q Worthy, you’ll find a wonderful wide assortment of new introductions, many of them exclusive to Quintessence. The charming hand painted Chinese Garden Dinner Plate collection above, features a different scene on each plate. The Tassel Napkins (which have chic matching placemats) in a go-with-everything blue and white can go with all your summer settings. And the stylish new hand painted glassware is available in six stylish colors to mix and match or order in a single hue. Our new hand painted porcelain Wicker Dinner Plate, below, is an updated ode to Nantucket’s history of wicker,
and our new hand painted Marina Salad Plate with Aglaea Dinner Plate (on top of our Louise Floral Tablecloth) are the essence of summer life on the water.
Also, a big thank you to Eleish van Breems, the marvelous emporium of antiques and Scandinavian inspired interiors offerings for hosting a Quintessence trunk show at their beautiful Nantucket store.
It was wonderful to see everyone in person and be able to debut all the new work of so many talented artisans I am lucky enough to work with. Stay tuned for more coming very soon including news about Nantucket by Design which launches next week!
