Tag along to Tendilla, Spain, a small town about an hour outside of Madrid for a behind the scenes visit with Spanish interior designer Luis Puerta at his extraordinary country home. Hear how, in searching for a weekend retreat from his busy life in Madrid, he found a dilapidated 18th century palazzo. Seeing the potential in what was essentially ruins, Puerta had a vision. Over the course of two years he sensitively renovated the building, incorporating handmade elements, and furnishings that effortlessly enhanced the spaces and the original architecture. Behind the house was a large abandoned garden. Working with longtime associate, landscape designer Alvaro Sampedro, Puerta transformed it into a verdant paradise, including a pool that dreams are made of. You’ll be inspired, informed and entertained!!
