Eleish van Breems co-founders Edie van Breems and Rhonda Eleish have been bringing Swedish and Northern European style to their stores in Connecticut (and Nantucket more recently) since 1998. While antiques was their original specialty, they have since branched out into their own furniture, lighting and paint lines, representing contemporary artisans in their shops as well as interior design.
This stunning pair of early 18th German Baroque period brass sconces feature cartouche shaped etched glass mirrored backs with flowers and scrolling foliage and inset miniature portraits of a man and woman. Each one armed sconce has an issuing scrolling arm with cup shaped nozzle and circular drip pan. They would surely add a distinctive flair to any style home.
