A very elegant footed goblet painted with trailing sprigs of indigo leaves. Each leaf is a single brushstroke, deep blue at its tip and fading toward the stem, so the pattern keeps the looseness of the hand that made it. Fine gold strokes and small gilded buds run between the leaves, and a delicate gold line finishes the rim.
The goblet itself is classic, with a knopped stem and a generous foot. It is as suited to water as to wine, and it holds its own on a formal table or a more relaxed one.
Every piece is painted one at a time in a Spanish workshop.
