The Rosa Rugosa, the flower featured on this delightful dinnerware, is a rustic rose, commonly seen on Nantucket and emblematic of summer on our little island. These charming hand painted plates, with their distinctive feathered rim were inspired by the famous Rousseau service, 19th century earthenware designed by Félix Bracquemond for dealer François-Eugène Rousseau, often seen in museum collections.
