After 17 years as an art director in New York City, I left the corporate world to become a suburban mother of four in Connecticut. My continuing love of design in all categories led to the creation of Quintessence, an online guide to the best in style and substance. From art and architecture, fashion and fun finds, books, food and wine, travel and more, Quintessence has become a trusted source for well researched original content in the online world. You will find I love classic modern style, timeless perfection and great design in all aspects of life. I think smart is sexy, great ideas deserve recognition and understated elegance is as good as it gets.
