At Home in Montecito with Suzanne Rheinstein

While acclaimed designer Suzanne Rheinstein’s storied Hancock Park home in Los Angeles is a study in layered neoclassical style, her home in Montecito is all about tranquility. At her idyllic country retreat, Suzanne worked with architectural firm Bories and Shearron to totally transform what was a dated 1971 house into her ultimate “house of calm.” Please tag along with me and Susanna for a behind the scenes visit with Suzanne at her exquisite Montecito home.

With architectural inspiration from warm weather destinations such as Mallorca, Suzanne utilized soft colors of tinted plaster inside and out to unify the space and emphasize the indoor outdoor lifestyle of temperate Montecito.
