Christmas Eve Tidings

Christmas Eve table

Every year Christmas Eve somehow sneaks up on me, reminding me somehow of Carl Sandburg’s fog. And this year, it has seemed especially speedy. I thought I would be able to share my table with you today, but since I am not quite done, I offer a peek and wish everyone who celebrates, a wonderful Christmas Eve. One of my favorite nights of the year, it is a time for family, festivities and an abundance of food, including my husband’s veal stew and my sister-in-law’s trifle. So, back to my wrapping station in Santa’s workshop. Merry merry!

  3. Merry Christmas! I am about to start putting together my Quince Trifle for our Christmas Eve dinner with friends tonight. I feel blessed to have fun friends and their family to celebrate with. Hoping to post some shots of the Trifle for my Christmas post. Best wishes to you!
