I thought I would have time to bring you more in depth news today but it is already proving to be a busy week, so I offer you a snippet of what this week has in store. I had a chance yesterday to visit the de Le Cuona showroom for the stateside introduction of their elegant Crocodile & Cashmere collection as well as a chic creative collaboration between Bernie de Le Cuona and British fashion designer Katherine Hooker. More on that soon. And then yesterday evening marked the opening of the 9th Annual Design Leadership Summit. I am honored to be attending this gathering of the country’s best designers, architects and industry companies for the second year. It started in style with an entertaining and spirited conversation between T Magazine’s Deborah Needleman and steadfast New York naysayer Fran Lebowitz. I am so looking forward to two more days of thought-provoking, enlightening and cutting edge explorations of design from the local to international level. Today will be a full day at the United Nations, examining art, architecture and design with a global view. I look forward to bringing you more from this special day.
